Turning

Turning is a process of removing material by means of a rotational movement (cutting movement).

There are two types of turning operations:

• external turning operations
• internal turning operations

Our current lathes are automated (numerically controlled lathes). The CNC programming of our machines is done via the Mastercam software interface, on a PC in 2D and 3D.

Each turner is responsible for his or her own programming, as well as for the quality of his or her production. Individual responsibility is at the heart of the company’s performance.

The diversity of Blanchet Technologies’ equipment enables the production of parts of all sizes and complexities.
